I don't know how to start off this review. Ok well let me break it down in pros and Cons. Pro- really friendly owner when you walk through the door. He greets you with a big smile as if you're his first guest. This is a really nice sized place for a diner, very Roomy. The menu has a good amount of options if your party is having different eating moods. The meatloaf is pretty good here.( I always try the meatloaf at a diner for some reason.) Cons- Service isn't the best, depending on who your waitress is, when getting your order/ check/refill/food that wasn't brought out...etc. Any who this was my experience: Most of The waitresses have been here a while and some seem to forget that quality is still very important, whether its your 1 st customer for the day or your 100th. I came here 4 times before, to bring my family for after-church brunch. We had just been seated and now opening our menus when she asked if we were ready, we were surprised and thought she was kidding, until she looked at each one of us with her pen and paper ready to write. I asked her if we could have a minute to look at the menu. She left and about 2 minutes the most, when we were ready to order, she wasnt around. After waiting about 10 minutes (ichecked my watch) we had to waive her down. She didn't seem care and took Our orders hurriedly and again she was gone. When the food finally came out, 2 out of the 4 of us, ordered pancakes, yet she didn't bring any syrup or butter. My husbands fries didn't come out either. So we sat there waiting until we would see her. Why didn't we ask her for it when she brought the food out, you ask? She pretty much slammed our plates in front of us and before we could open our mouths to ask, she just turned and left. We were thinking, oh she must've went to get the rest of items....but no. We never got it or anything else the ENTIRE time, not even the BILL.she was so caught up with 2 other tables (2 pple each)just talking away. We had to ask another waitress who was kind enough to brings us the syrup, even though my mom went along after getting tired of waiting and ate it mostly dry. we actually had to go up to the counter and ask for the check. Before we paid, i let the cashier/owner know that one of our meal came with dessert and we would like it to go. Now she comes over to ask us what would we like for dessert, while we stood by the door! I couldn't believe it. I would've liked my dessert at the table and not at the door when im ready to leave. The owner looked a little annoyed at her carelessness but smiled and thanked us for coming. Today however we went back and thankfully got another waitress who was kind and very good to us. She was very sweet and did her job well. She brought us everything our order came with and definitely made up for the 2 previous experiences ive had here. The owner was his pleasant self and all was well.

This is where the locals go to eat breakfast! I have eaten here several times and always enjoy the good diner favorites like pancakes, french toast, omelets, bacon etc. The servers are friendly and know a lot of the regulars by name. Today, we both ate jumbo french toast which is made with fresh brioche...it's light, fluffy and delicious.

Had breakfast here recently with a dear friend in from out of town. We spent over two hours visiting bu were never bothered by our server to "hurry up and order" or "eat it and beat it" to clear the table. Love that and thank you to her. Food was also good. A varied menu that can satisfy any and all appetites, I had a hard time trying to make up my mind but once I did, I wasn't disappointed. I like my bacon VERY soft and they made me happy! Don't go for the decor, go for the good food and enjoy the good service.

Has alot of the same quality of a Jersey diner. Get the Turkey dinner special and the Gyro Omelet Serve can be hit or miss depending on waitress.

Sloppy service for take out. Waited about 10 min to get serviced for take out for the waitress to tell me because I was ordering 3 scrambled eggs plates & 2 sunny side up plates they were to busy to give me that type of order. Waitress was rude & I decided to walk out. the place was slightly busy but geesh! Waitress needs some common sense. If it were for me no star! Go somewhere else.

Food is always fresh and always delish. We have been going here for years. Aside from the place being old and in desperate need of renovation, the food is always good.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what the food was like. My daughter and I went in for breakfast this morning. There were plenty of tables open and we were seated right away (restaurant was at about 50% of capacity). The waitress takes our drink orders, brings the drinks back and pulls out her pen/pad to take our orders. I tell her "Sorry, can we have another minute? We haven't figured it out yet." She says "Oh, why not? You bet you can." Then she disappears. After ten minutes, my daughter and I left. I offered to pay for the coffee, but the cashier wouldn't take it. I hate to admit it, but that was the first time I'd ever left a restaurant on account of bad service; if the place is slammed, I'll cope with bad service...but this waitress just flat out vanished. Even the manager/cashier lady at the front was having difficulty finding her as I was walking out.

HARRRRRRRIBLE. Let me say I've gone to this place on off for 25 years. Its just awful. One time the waitress sweating in our food....but i digress. THIS time, was prerty standard for this place. First the atmosphere: Its drab and has no decor. Service? We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order and an othet 25 minutes for food to come out at various times. And then it came out in like three waves. Home fries undercooked, grilled cheese undercooked, eggs were overcooked. Salad took the longest to come out. Instead of warming coffee the waitress just brought more cups which crowded up the table. Someone in our group went to use the restroom and had to leave to go use one at some other establishment because it was so bad. NG=NOT GOOD

Bad service, dirty dining room, bad food... if your in coral springs and want breakfast do not go here. My hash browns were served almost raw in a plate full of grease. The two slices of bacon were paper thin. I ordered French toast and got pancakes. Will not be going back. Coral Springs diner is much better for breakfast... period

They put a 2 top table next to a booth for our party of 6. This made a a waitress complain as she walked by "Well this isn't gonna work." The owner put it there. A member in my party asked if she could get some heated syrup and the waitress responded "We don't do that here." Party member asked "You can't put some syrup in a bowl and heat it up?" As the waitress walked away I heard her say "You got to be kidding me." Waffles doughy in the middle. Not a good experience...we won't be back. Waffles weren't eaten and they didn't even offer to take tyoff the bill.

Charming place. Super friendly staff. Extremely fast and attentive service. Good food. Affordable prices. Some may say the decor is a little outdated, but it is nice and clean which is all that really matters. The place would definitely lose that "diner" feel if it underwent a modern overhaul. Will definitely be back. Places like this are few and far between and therefore deserve the community's support.

Been coming here for 12 years, great service, great value, no frills meals. Typical diner fair, nothing fancy, don't expect a red carpet. But the staff is GREAT! One of the friendliest in Coral Springs...they know your name, have your drinks and ready to take your order as you sit down. Kitchen is fast, food is consistent, nothing fancy, just a good value for a decent meal. Our kids love the staff and the older clientele, always a good time.

This place is kind of a dump as far as the decor goes. With that said I go every Tuesday night with friends and the service and food make up for the aging decor. The dinner specials come with soup, salad , soft drink, entree and dessert.

Good food at a great value. When I walk into a place and see it filled with senior citizens, it tells me three things: 1. The food will be decent. 2. The value will be excellent. 3. The servers will be patience/good. Now is my assessment politically correct? Well my answer is, probably not, but I really don't care because my observations were spot on. I had the Club Sandwich on wheat, dry with swiss cheese and home fries. (see pic) My daughter had Belgium Waffles. The sandwich was constructed good and it tasted great. My daughter loved the waffles and ate ever bit. The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance was your typical diner nothing fancy. Overall, decent place with some good chow, reasonable prices, and efficient service. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

I have been there on several occasions. The servers are marginal at best. The bus boy was really working hard and was very helpful. I wish the servers would take a lesson from him. The food is just OK. This is another restaurant that seems to draw and older crowd. I went there last year and waited 15 minutes and no service. I walked out and had only been back once to meet a friend at their request. I try to avoid the place if possible. I would rather travel a little farther to the Coral Springs Diner.

I give it 5 stars because its a diner! Not sure what to expect... Endless coffee, decent food at good prices. As far as diners go, this place is better then most with FREE WIFI. Service is good, they tend to leave you alone. So if you need a seat, a place to work and a full cup of coffee, I'd highly recommend the place. The hostess was very nice and the servers will engage you if you engage them. But if I am on the phone or working... They left me alone, which is what I wanted.

I had been here for breakfast years ago - which was your standard diner fare (good portions, strong coffee, gruff servers) and came back at the request of my family for dinner tonight. Not good. Not good at all. Service was horrendous. I get that if you're busy and seemingly short staffed, things will be off, but I got the sense this is the standard dinner show now. Portions for dinner were skimpy and only those who ordered breakfast for dinner were happy.I would only go back for breakfast. My parents are big fans of this place and they were horrified by our experience. The hardest working people there were the bus boys... who could teach the waitresses about being efficient, pleasant and hard working. Give those guys a raise!

I had lunch this afternoon with a party of 17 after a ceremony at a local cemetery. The restaurant was very accommodating to a large group, and the staff was very friendly. They didn't see us as an imposition. I get the idea that many people go to this restaurant after funerals and unveilings, and they're trained to handle such parties. I ordered matzoh ball soup, a small salad, and the lamb shank. The soup was quite acceptable, the salad was fairly standard, and the lamb shank was very good -- fork tender, no knife needed, good flavor. The meal came with a dessert, which I didn't feel the need for, so my wife ordered an eclair. They were out, so the waiter brought a napoleon without asking, which seemed a little strange, as I figured they should have asked what we wanted instead rather than just guessing. But my wife said it was a very good napoleon. Many of the people in the party ordered breakfast, and the chocolate-chip pancakes looked particularly appealing, though more than any single human being could eat.

Cat food corned beef, soggy French toast, bad bananas, shoddy service. I'll pass.
